National Reading Day i.e. 19-Jun-2020 is an annual event that falls on the death anniversary of P. N. Panicker, the father of 'Library Movement in Kerala' in order to encourage reading among students all around the country. In line with that KV Dharmapuri also celebrates Reading Month each year in form of various activites and competitions.

- Any Student of KV Dharmapuri irrespective of his/her class may participate any of the competition.
- All students are encouraged to participate in all the competitions.
