Compilation of COVID Pandemic Experiences and Publication of E-Book

 COMPILATION OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC EXPERIENCES AND PUBLICATION OF E-BOOK

Dear Students,
                   It's time to share your experience about the changes in life, during Covid-19 Pandemic and show your talent in the below given formats. Further the selected entries will be sent to Regional Office for publication of E-Books & later it will also be circulated to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas of India and abroad.

Who can participate:
All Students of Primary and Secondary. The entries will be selected from Primary and Secondary, Separately 

Formats:
1. Poetry Composition: In addition to the stylised formal language format, this can also include the wide variety of now accepted formats like Villanelle, Sestina, Ekphrastic, Tanka, Found poetry etc.

Note:
{Villanelle: A French verse form consisting of five three-line stanzas and a final quatrain, with the first and third lines of the first stanza repeating alternately in the following stanzas. These two refrain lines form the final couplet in the quatrain.

Sestina: A complex French verse form, usually unrhymed, consisting of six stanzas of six lines each and a three-line envoy. Example: A sestina is a poem written using a very specific, complex form. Examples of Sestina: Elizabeth Bishop's "A Miracle for Breakfast" was published in 1972.

Ekphrastic: As you begin to write your ekphrastic poems, consider the following approaches: Write about the scene or subject being depicted in the artwork. Write in the voice of a person or object shown in the work of art. Write about your experience of looking at the art.

Tanka: Tanka poems follow a set of rules. They all have five lines and each line follows a pattern: the first line has five syllables, the second line has seven syllables, the third line has five syllables, the fourth line has seven syllables, and the fifth line has seven syllables.}

2. Flash Fiction: Experiences narrated in the form of fiction with all its elements but the size limited to 1000 words.

3. Tweet: Experiences expressed crisply within the word limitations of tweets with all its accompanied relaxations and freedom. Letter limit is 160 characters. 

4. Meme: Multimedia creations expressing the experiences in a creative and humorous manner.

Dear Students,
     We know that due to Covid-19 Pandemic, you and teachers have been missing School whole year. Although, Teachers and Students have tried their level best to conduct and attend online classes to fulfill the core objective of School Education and stay connected.

   However, we the family of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharmapuri would love to hear from you guys that what did you miss the most about your Vidyalaya during this year 2020.

      So, here is an activity for you all:

Write a Letter to your Vidyalaya/Teachers and tell them "what did you miss the most about your Vidyalaya?"

         Since 1968, 14th to 20th November is being celebrated as the National Library Week all over India and various programs are organised by the libraries to enhance public awareness about libraries. Celebration of National Education Day 2020

CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY 2020

National Education Day is an annual observance in India to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India, who served from 15 August 1947 until 2 February 1958. National Education Day of India is celebrated on 11 November every year.

     On 11 September 2008, The Ministry of Education (formerly known as Ministry of Human Resource Development) decided to commemorate the birthday of this great son of India by recalling his contribution to the cause of education in India. Hence, 11th November every year, from 2008 onward, is being celebrated as the National Education Day. 

   The day is also seen as an occasion to remember Azad's contribution in laying the foundations of the education system in an independent India, and evaluating and improving the country's current performance in the field. (Source: Wikipedia)

     In wake of the same, here @ KV Dharmapuri, we will also be celebrating the National Education Day 2020 on 10th & 11th Nov, 2020. The Following activities or competitions will be organised for students:

Dear Students/Parents,
        Please pay attention to this information. If you are still looking for the Text books and not able to get it in any nearby store. We have got something for you.

      We are still left with some of the donated books to be distributed to the students who needs it. Please note that we have got 3 to 4 complete Sets for Class 1st to 5th, 2-3 complete Sets for Class 6th to 8th and 1-2 complete Sets for Class 9th to 11th. Apart from this few single books of different subjects are also available for all the classes.

        So, If you want to take any book, you can call me or Parents may come directly to the library during School hours to get those books. It will be better, if you call before coming.

        We have only limited books, so, these books will be distributed on First Come, First Serve Basis. For information on availability of Books, Please call me @ 9810763498.

About Indian Air Force:
        The Indian Air Force (IAF) is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. Its complement of personnel and aircraft assets ranks fourth amongst the air forces of the world. Its primary mission is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during armed conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire which honoured India's aviation service during World War II with the prefix Royal. After India gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1947, the name Royal Indian Air Force was kept and served in the name of Dominion of India.        Library, Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharmapuri is celebrating 88th Indian Air Force Day in the honor of the Indian Air Force and Tribute the the Defence Staff of the Country. On this Proud occasion, the following Competitions and Activities will be conducted:
