    75th Independence Day celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharmapuri by teachers and through virtual mode by students. A series of various events like, Speach, Solo Dance, Instrument, Act and Poster making took place and finally the day concluded by Blood Donation by teachers.

Library, KV Dharmapuri wishes Happy 75th Independence day to all the Dear Students, Parents and Teachers. This Independence Month Library, KV Dharmapuri brings you many exiting Activities to fulfill this day with joy, while learning. So, Lets begin and make it a memorable day.

Here is the list of Activities that can be performed by Students:
  1. Best Capture/Photo with National Flag in Ethnic Outfit
  2. Short Video - Act as a National Independence Activist (Max. 30 to 40 Seconds)
  3. Video - Dance - Record a Video of Dance on a Patriotic Song (Max. 1 to 1.5 minutes)
  4. Poster Making - Make a Poster on theme of Independence Day

Ranganathan (1892-1972), who had spearheaded library development in India.” Dr. Ranganathan is also known as Father of Library Science in India for his valuable contributions in Library Science.

        India has won its first medal at the Tokyo Olympics. And it's courtesy India's star weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, who has won the silver in the women's 49kg category.

    This is India's second weightlifting medal at the Olympics overall, after Karnam Malleswari, who won the bronze at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Mirabai, with this has also become overall the 17th individual Olympic medallist from India (from 1900 to 2021).

Why is Reading Day or Reading Month Celebrated?

          National Reading Day i.e. 19-Jun-2020 is an annual event that falls on the death anniversary of P. N. Panicker, the father of 'Library Movement in Kerala' in order to encourage reading among students all around the country. In line with that KV Dharmapuri also celebrates Reading Month each year in form of various activites and competitions.

1.    23-Jun-2021 to 26-Jun-2021 - Book Mark: Design a beautiful Bookmark and send it to 9810763498 using Whatsapp.

 

2.    27-Jun-2021 to 30-Jul-2021 - Book Cover: Design a Book Cover and send it to 9810763498 using Whatsapp.

 

3.    01-Jul-2021 to 05-Jul-2021 - Story Telling in English or Hindi: Record a video of yourself doing Story Telling and send it to 9810763498 using Whatsapp.

 

4.    06-Jul-2021 to 10-Jul-2021 - Book Review: Record a video of yourself while reviewing a Book that you read and send it to 9810763498 using Whatsapp.
