1. Photography Contest: National Level Photography Contest is being conducted, Please read the instructions given below to Participate:
1. Contest is open to all in following categories:Class 1st to 5th
Class 6th to 8th
Class 9th to 12th
3. Theme: "DIGNITY OF LABOUR" or "EK BHARAT SHRESTH BHARAT"
4. Only One entry is permissible from One student.
5. Photo must be submitted in JPEG format only to the following in charge teachers:
Class 1st to 5th - Sh. Rahul Bahot, PRT @ 8700981295
Class 6th to 8th - Sh. Sumedh Lokhande, TGT(Eng.) @ 9451940747
Class 9th to 12th - Sh. Krishnkant Meena, PGT(Geo.) @ 9413000907
6. All entries must be submitted latest by 02nd Oct, 2020.
7. Rename the Photo as Student Name, Class & Section, KVDPI. For example - Rohit, 8B, KVDPI
8. One Best Entry in each category will be selected for Regional Level.
9. Best entries from each category selected @ Regional level will be sent to NCERT to select the National Level Winner.

CELEBRATION OF GANDHI JAYANTI & PUSTKOPHAR 2020
CELEBRARION OF GANDHI JAYANTI & PUSTKOPHAR 2020 (DONATION OF USED BOOKS
Pustkophar is an unique initiative of KVS, encouraging students to donate their used books to junior students. Which saves the tree, environment and Money. Pustkophar is not only a programme instead, it’s a celebration of being promoted and handing over their current charge to their juniors. Pustkophar is normally celebrated on the day of declaration of result in the last week of March each year. However, This year due to Covid-19 Pandemic this program of donating used books could not be conducted.
Now, since, Govt. has permitted to partially open the Vidyalaya, the family of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharmapuri has decided to Celebrate this festival of "Pustkophar" on the auspicious occasion of "Gandhi Jayanti" i.e. 02-Oct-2020.
Why Celebration of "Pustkophar" is urgently needed?
Covid-19 Pandemic has adversely impacted supply of Goods and Services in all the areas and it has been observed that NCERT Books are not avaialbe in most of the stores of Dharmapuri. Therefore, Students are facing lots of problem in their studies. Hence, there can not be better solution except "Pustkophar Festival" to overcome this situation and there could not be a better day rather than "Gandhi Jayanti" i.e. 02-Oct-2020 for celebration of this festival.
How to participate in the celebration?
- Students willing to donate or receive donated books must fill the below form to Register for participation.
- Only Parent has to Come to the Vidyalaya on 02-Oct-2020 for donating the used Books @ 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- Covid-19 SOP e.g. Social Distancing, Mask & Hand Sanitizer etc. must be followed by the parents visiting the Vidyalaya.
- Body Temperature will be taken at the main entry gate of the Vidyalaya.
- After receiving Books from all the willing participant, the dates for receiving the donated books will be announced.
- Again, only Parent will visit the Vidyalaya to receive the books for their ward(s).
- While distributing the books, the preference will be given to the students who have donated their used books.
- All rights of decision of receiving and distribution of donated books are reserved by the Vidyalaya.
- Pass out Students are also welcome to the Vidyalaya for participating in the Pustkophar Festival.
- Senior students of Class 10th to 12th may visit the Vidyalaya for the participation in the Pustkophar Festival on 02-Oct-2020 @ the given time, along with the consent letter from their respective parents.
Names of the students participated in the "Pustkophar" festival will be published on the Main Page of Library Blog for whole session 2020-21.
