Dear Teachers, Parents & Students,

Secretary, School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India vide letter dated 01.02.2021 has requested to document our responses to COVID-19 for our future Administrators, Planners, Teachers, Schools etc. to learn from. In that context, it is important that we document some human-interest stories from each Region related to school education during pandemic: Stories of Innovation, sacrifice, going beyond call of duty, challenges faced and creatively solved, humour, finding joy in difficulty, etc.

Accordingly, all Teachers, Parents & Students of KV Dharmapuri are requested to share 1 human interest stories each as follows:

  2. The story must be related to experiences of teaching, learning, outreach, inclusion, use of technology, etc.; basically, anything related to school education.
  3. At the centre of the story, there should be a person or persons in the context of school education-therefore, the story could be about a teacher, a student, a parent, a school, etc. who did exemplar and extraordinary work, out of the routine, during this period. The story should revolve around this person/s and his/her/their experiences.
  4. The facts and can be about:
    • This person overcoming adversity
    • Sacrifice and/or going beyond call of duty
    • Creative solution to a challenging situation
    • Funny Stories
    • Innovations done that helped many
  5. The story can contain dialogues/conversations/photographs. Story may be written to appeal to the emotional side of the reader.
  6. At the beginning of the story, the name of the teacher/volunteer/etc. may be given only if they agree to give name. Names of the students below 18 years, if any, may be given only with parental consent.
  7. The name of the School and address including, district and state is to be compulsorily written for each story.
  8. Examples of a story: - the teachers who began teaching on the village loudspeaker in Kachchh, Gujrat, the teacher who used the walls of houses as blackboards in Jharkhand etc.
